Saurabh Shringarpure

Seoul National University

Saurabh Shringarpure is a BK21 Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Seoul National University, working in Hyunseok Jeong's quantum information science group at the NextQuantum Innovation Research Center. Saurabh's research centres on protecting bosonic quantum information, including error suppression in multicomponent cat codes through photon subtraction and teleamplification, linear-optical protocols for mitigating noise in bosonic systems, and hybrid qumode-qubit rotation gates for code-agnostic noise suppression, alongside work on quantum metrology and statistical inference. Saurabh received a BTech in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi, then an MS and, in 2022, a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a thesis on quantum optical state preparation for quantum communication supervised by James Franson, before moving to Seoul National University in 2023.
